lack and white triptych of London cityscapes showing the River Thames, narrow City of London streets, and elevated skyline views under dramatic skies.

Timeless City is a long-term fine art photography project exploring London’s architecture, urban landscape, and layered history through black and white and atmospheric cityscape imagery.

A city shaped over more than two millennia, London continues to evolve while retaining its distinctive architectural identity and global significance. These photographs are the result of extensive exploration across the city, capturing its atmosphere, structure, and shifting light through a considered and observational approach.

It was difficult to put into just a few words why I started this project, explain why I feel compelled to photograph London’s cityscape and provide some background on some of the creative choices I made when the project started. To avoid making this project page too wordy, I posted an introduction to the Timeless City project on my blog.
